It is'a Christian vision of a hateful attitude when we discover in the other, worse in those who believed friends. 

It 'very frequently in our world and I believe it is one of the reasons for our decadent age. 

I, much more modestly, to define it, I refer back to the old sayings: 

"Virtous Mouth not ever drink wine, but goes to the bowl with the barrel" 

"Hypocrital guy humility is masked pride" 

 

But perhaps now there is, maybe it's stuff of the past.
